In recent years, with the continuous advancement of science and technology and the improvement of detection technology, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry has gradually become the mainstream method for the determination of carbonates in battery electrolytes. This method combines the high-efficiency separation ability of gas chromatography and the high sensitivity and high selectivity detection characteristics of mass spectrometry, which can achieve accurate determination of carbonates. This paper introduces the experimental method for the determination of carbonates in battery electrolytes by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. After optimizing the detection conditions, a method for the determination of East-West analysis GC-MS 3200 gas-mass spectrometry instrument is established, which can be used for reference of relevant personnel.
