Determination of Titanium (Ti), Aluminum (Al) and Calcium (Ca) in Polyethylene by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry
Release Date :2025-03-24

Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) has become an important method for the determination of titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), calcium (Ca) and other metal elements in polyethylene (PE) due to its high sensitivity, low cost and easy operation. Its principle is based on the selective absorption of characteristic spectra by ground state atoms, combined with different atomization techniques (flame or graphite furnace) to achieve accurate quantification of trace elements. This paper focuses on the method of titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), calcium (Ca) elements in polyethylene. The method adopts East-West Analysis AA-7020 Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, which can be used for reference by relevant personnel.
